Wuppertal BDA Prize 2007
Recognition for the Wuppertal Law Courts
This design, that won HPP
first prize in the design competition in 2002, has now been completed and been
awarded a Recognition by the Wuppertal Federation of German Architects.
The Wuppertal Law Courts are on an island in the middle of the River Wupper
that occupies a prominent urban position in the city. We managed not only to
construct a completely new court building on this extremely tight site but also
to complete the interior renovation of the two existing buildings without
interrupting use.
