The Helmut Hentrich Foundation prize is awarded
Students at the RWTH University in Aachen receive bursaries
The Board of Trustees of the Helmut-Hentrich-Foundation awarded three 5,000 Euro travel bursary last Friday to students of the RWTH University
in Aachen.
The award, that rewards excellent architectural work
and enables students to travel to see significant European buildings, was
presented during the degree ceremony in the summer semester of 2009. Joachim H.
Faust awarded the bursaries to Luise Kister, 26, who is working towards her
engineer’s diploma in architecture and whose work was judged best in her year
and to Frédéric Vincent Adam Schnee, 23, and Leonhard Wertgen, 22, both
studying towards bachelor degrees. Their work was judged to be extraordinary
and particularly distinct.
