Architecture made in Düsseldorf
State capital presents photo exhibition about Düsseldorf’s architecture at Warsaw Opera.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Düsseldorf’s and Warsaw’s town twinning Düsseldorf presents itself at the Warsaw Opera by an exhibition about its architecture from today on.
The exhibition’s concept derived from the close collaboration between the state capital and four Düsseldorf architecture firms, particularly supported by HPP. The photo exhibition consists of 72 organically-formed illuminated white acrylic glass panels on which the large-size photographs of Düsseldorf’s buildings appear brilliantly. A specific imaginary impression is caused by the panels’ form and material. Düsseldorf’s cityscape appears like a movie in front of the visitor’s eye. The presentation was designed as a travelling exhibition, HPP presents projects like Vodafone Campus, VICTORIA Headquarters, Breidenbacher Hof, Düsseldorf Concert Hall, OASE, Europe Tower and World Expo Village. Architecture made in Düsseldorf is to be visited at the Warsaw Opera until 15th of November 2009.
