The Bayer Tower was built in 1963 to celebrate the factory’s centenary and
was the company headquarters until 2002. It was built as a steel skeleton construction and has a square floor plan with the service core set to one side
of the centre of the facade. The 122m high building is currently being stripped back to the supporting skeleton in order to be re-clad with a media facade.
