The new building complements the two preexisting structures at the Munich-Neuperlach location, resulting in an office complex for 2,200 employees. The backbone of the entire facility, which has been continuously expanded over the last thirty years, is an east-west running thoroughfare that connects the three buildings in a functional unity. A transparent glass façade with shading elements structures the access axis, providing the opportunity for solar energy generation with photovoltaic units.
