The original company headquarters of the Phoenix AG and later headquarters of the labor bureau was converted and refurbished for the Düsseldorf district attorney and sections of the Düsseldorf county court. In order to expand the floor space, the top floor was completely removed and reconstructed. By re-
taining the landmark protected exterior facade, the entrance hall and the stair-
well as well as two imposing meeting rooms with stucco ceilings, the original character of the house was restored.
