The Olivandenhof is a city centre shopping mall in Cologne. Zeppelinstraße, which runs between the Olivandenhof and the Karstadt department store, was converted into a glazed pedestrian zone or “galeria“. The hub of the Olivan-denhof is the central atrium that incorporates all floors. Escalators with glass sides run from the basement to the third floor. Another distinctive feature of
the Olivandenhof is the bridge linking the department store at first and second storey levels.
