The production hall, completed in 1998 is an extension to Bauerfeind Anlagen GmbH’s premises. The original production hall serves as the template for the new building both in terms of scale and design.
The brief was to design a hall with as few columns as possible that was infinitely flexible in terms of the installation of production and finishing plant and that would also house offices, staff rooms and changing rooms as well as a canteen.
A transparent steel and glass wall separates these functions from the production hall but still allows the necessary visual contact between both areas.
