Europe Tower Sofia
Client: ECE-Gruppe and Advance Properties / Location: Sofia, Bulgarien
GFA: 69,000 m² / Height: 209,5 m / International Competition: 1st Prize 2007

The design for the highest building in Sofia originated with an international com-petition in 2007. Beginning in 2011, the Europe Tower will provide the initiating spark for urban development in a new district in the middle of the city on an industrial waste area. At the same time, with a height of 210 meters,
it will be-come a significant new visual trademark of the rising Bulgarian metropolis. The Europe tower was conceived as an office tower with luxury residences and a sky lounge and forms an oversized V – an homage to the surrounding Vitosha Mountains.
